The power of product lifecycle telemetry can transform the operational services provided by Cisco Partners who are engaged in monitoring, maintaining and optimisation activities for their customers network infrastructure. By harnessing the telemetry feeds from the customer’s network infrastructure, Cisco’s analytical engines generate unprecedented insights and exposed downstream to Cisco Partners. This empowers Cisco Partners to create innovative services and gain a competitive edge. With this level of insight, partners can readily identify adoption challenges and expansion opportunities with their customers. The process is elucidated in the simple workflow below.

Cisco has broken down the Product lifecycle for core solution domains into set of use cases that are telemetry enabled. Every use case passes through the racetrack pitstops and its position precisely relayed to Cisco and Partners via Telemetry. As an example, the Product Lifecycle Insights from Cisco Success Tracks and PX (Partner Experience) Cloud can tell exactly which stage (pitstop) of the use case the customer is at, whether its implement, use, adopt, optimize, etc., With this level of insights the partner can create compelling service offers (a.k.a ATX and Accelerators) that meets the customer operational needs , helps drive adoption and progress to subsequent stages.

For Cisco Partners to create use case and pitstop aligned services, there are several capabilities that they can consider to drive differentiation from rest of the competition. These capabilities include services that are vertical specific, cross-architecture , business process oriented , feature enhancements and micro targeted customer segments. These services are indeed poised to create expansion opportunities for Cisco Partners. Cisco Partner Success Team conducts Service Creation workshops with select partners to help them ideate and create these services across different capabilities. If you are a Cisco CX (Customer Experience) Partner, please contact your Cisco CX account team for more information on this workshop.

I always encourage Cisco Partners whom i work with to think long term and plan for creating a service catalogue for the core use cases for every Success Track (Campus Network, Data Center Compute/Network, etc). With the catalogue in place, they can position the right ATX or Accelerators based on the customer needs and pain-points.
